Protect West Mabou Beach Provincial Park

Stand up for Piping Plovers and all Species-At-Risk!

Here’s your chance to tell Tory Rushton, Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables for Nova Scotia, that developing a new golf course in West Mabou Provincial Park will negatively impact the wildlife and ecosystem of this protected area.  You know that our provincial parks play a vital role in conserving Canada’s biodiversity. West Mabou Beach Provincial Park is ecologically significant and supports many rare species, including Piping Plovers, Bank and Barn Swallows, Olive-sided Flycatchers, Canada Warbler, Boreal Chickadee, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Greater Yellowlegs, Northern Harrier, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, and Swainson’s Thrush. And it's time to let the Minister and the Premier know you’re concerned and it’s important to protect our precious biodiversity before it’s too late.
